The Edens stopped by the club today for a visit.
As you know we lost our dear friend and member, John Eden over the winter.
It was a pleasure to see them as we talked much about Mr. Eden and all the great times he had at EGC.
The family sends their very best to all and were sorry they could not stay longer to see all their friends as it was a quick trip to the Vineyard.

One of our members brought in this shirt he ( or she ) says has been in their drawer for 30 years.
And we believe it! They never wore it and don’t know why they purchased it because it was pink. ( guess it was a he )
The shirt was donated back to the club after 30 years for the archives!
If you are the first to come up with the name of the member we will give you a free sleeve of golf balls. Pink, of course!
The answer will not be printed at a later date to protect the image of the guilty party.

Your publisher had the distinct honor of driving WWII VET and EGC Member Robert Kelly in the Edgartown 4th of July Parade tonight. This, as most of you may know was President of EGC Fred B. Morgan’s last Parade as Grand Marshall ( after 43 years ). We salute Robert and Ted and all the Veteran Members of EGC on this fine day.
The following are the photos taken from the parade.
