Some of you may recall the Story of a young Tony Jackson going off to the qualifier for the Mass Mid Am Championship.
Tony went off island with nary a buck in his pocket , played a practice round, slept in a bunker on the course, only to have to retreat into the woods when the irrigation came on.
Tony went out the next day and was the Medalist with a low score of 70 and secured a spot in the Championship.
